Harmonic began as a simple idea: give anyone the ability to create a digital record store and champion the artists they care about. As we’ve developed the platform and collaborated with artists and curators, Harmonic has evolved into a new kind of music ecosystem with tools for meaningful recommendations, unique multi-media releases, and a commission structure that supports everyone involved.
Independent artists deserve thoughtful coverage, and the curators who surface and recommend that work deserve support. The Harmonic Curator Fund is a small honorarium program created to help music writers, podcasters, content creators, and community organizers spend focused time discovering artists, sharing their perspectives, and shaping the early curation layer of Harmonic.
Selected curators will receive an honorarium for a short, three-week project period where they’ll recommend music they believe in, connect with independent artists, and help bring new voices onto Harmonic.

Curators receive a $275 honorarium for participating in the program, plus a $75 bonus for each additional artist brought onto Harmonic after the first one. Curators can receive up to $500 (in addition to commission from sales).
